THE RULES

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF INHERENT RISK
You acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in the activities and/or attractions, which you agree may be dangerous and entail both known and unknown inherent risks, including the risk of injury, permanent disability, or even death deriving from, but not limited to, equipment malfunctions, building malfunctions, lack of supervision and/or trained staff, monitors, and/or operators, lack of proper equipment or padding, or other safety measures,  slipping, falling, landing, or colliding with equipment, objects, other patrons, or staff.

ENTER AND PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK
DO NOT ENTER OR PLAY if you are not willing to accept FULL RESPONSIBILITY for any pain, suffering, injury, death, damage, or loss you could possibly incur here.

GUARDIANS REQUIRED
Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult guardian. Each guardian may bring no more than 6 underage persons into the premises.

CURFEW
Guest under the age of 21 are required to exit the premises by 11 p.m.

WAIVERS REQUIRED
Every participant in roller skating, laser tag, and/or bumper cars MUST have a signed waiver on file prior to participating. The person signing the waiver must be at least 18 years or older.

REPORT ANY INJURY BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Report any injury - no matter how minor - to a manager before leaving.

ALCOHOL & IDENTIFICATION
We sell alcohol. We check ID's. To consume alcoholic beverages (or to access our self-our system), you must establish that you are at least 21 years of age. You must have a valid identification card issued by a state or governmental agency containing your photograph, date of birth, height, sex, and color of eyes. AREA 254 reserves the right to reject any form of identification presented for any reason - and the right not to serve alcohol to any guest, even those who have their parent's permission.

PLAY BEFORE YOU DRINK
If you are going to roller skate, play laser tag, or drive bumper cars, you must do that BEFORE you drink. Doing so AFTER you drink (even a little) is prohibited.

DRESS CODE

  • Appropriate, clean attire required.
  • Persons wearing ripped, torn, or soiled clothing will be admitted (or asked to leave) at the discretion of management.
  • No hats, clothing, jewelry or visible tattoos with offensive language or imagery.
  • Shoes and shirts required. (Closed toe shoes required for laser tag & bowling.)
  • Sunglasses may not be worn inside AREA 254.
  • We do not allow clothing which exposes underwear or excessive portions of skin, which may be viewed as inappropriate in a family environment.
  • No perceived evidence of gang affiliation. (Also, no offensive patches.)
  • NO WEAPONS except by sworn law enforcement personnel.
  • NO OPEN CARRY of firearms except by sworn law enforcement personnel.
  • NO CONCEILED CARRY of firearms except by sworn law enforcement personnel.

LANGUAGE
Keep it clean and friendly. This is a family environment. We're here to have fun.

SMOKING
No smoking inside AREA 254 or within 20 feet from the doors, including vaporizers and electronic cigarettes. No pipe, cigar smoking, snuff or chewing tobacco.

ANIMALS
Legitimate service animals are welcomed. All other animals must remain outside. (We don't want to scare the aliens. Who knows what they might do?)

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS
Food and beverages not prepared and/or served by AREA 254 are prohibited (except for approved store-bought cakes or cupcakes for special occasions).

LOITERING AND/OR SOLICITING
Loitering and/or soliciting inside or in the adjacent parking areas is prohibited.

WANT TO TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEO AT AREA 254?

AREA 254 encourages our guests to make and share memories in a fun, social environment. However, we kindly request that our guests adhere to the following policies regarding the use of cameras on our premises:

  • Permission required for any filming or photography intended for commercial use, including journalism.
  • Filming or photography of other guests or staff members requires their express permission.
  • No filming or photography of games for the purpose of gaining an unfair playing advantage.
  • No use of tripods or other equipment, which might interfere with the ability of other guests to enjoy their experience, without prior written permission.
  • We reserve the right to revoke permission for the use of photographic or video equipment at any time for any reason.

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
When you enter AREA 254, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

  • By entering the premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, marketing, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by AREA 254 and its affiliates and representatives.
  • Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar AREA 254 events in the future, highlight an event, and exhibit the capabilities of AREA 254. You release AREA 254, its officers, director, employees, contractors, agents, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.
  • By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, television, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by AREA 254 or the person or entity designated to do so by AREA 254.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE IN USE

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering. DO NOT ENTER AREA 254 if you do not agree to be subject thereto.
